Mahendra Academy for Career Developments:

 

This Academy was started in the year 2001 and planned to conduct the following courses:

  • Civil Services Examinations
  • Coaching for Professional Entrance tests Coaching,TOEFL, Diploma Courses in Railway Management and Administration.
  • SLET and other related courses

 

The aim of the Academy is to give chances for the students in getting training and coaching for additional professional courses so that they could be empowered to seek their career in future. The academy wanted to establish a strong center for coaching Civil Service Examinations.

 

Students from the first year, second year and third year B.E. classes are admitted for coaching for the Civil Services Examinations. But as they have not completed their UG Degree they could not take the examinations. In the second phase the Academy desired to draw students from different parts of the country.

 

The academy submitted application for the Centrally Sponsored Scheme of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India, New Delhi. This application was recommended by the Govt. of Tamilnadu and forwarded to the Govt. of India. Fortunately the Academy was successful in getting the sanction.

 

This sponsored programme is assited by Mahendra Educational Trust and a Coaching Center has been established in the Mahendra Engineering College Campus. This Academy has a plan to establish a permanent Center for Civil Services Examinations (UPSC Examinations) in future. Thousands of poor and deserving students will be encouraged for the above course.
