Master of Business Administration Degree Programme  - Curriculum and Syllabus

 

Objective:

To prepare dynamic managers equipped with understanding of the cross-cultural dimensional of business and skills for handling business not only in the country but also across the borders.

 

Status:

Approved by AICTE and Affiliated to Anna University, Coimbatore.

 

Duration:

Two Years (Semester)

 

Eligibility 

    A pass in a recognised Bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration and obtained atleast 50% (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying examination in 10+2+3 years pattern (or) 10+3 years Diploma + 3 years pattern (or) B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch./B.Pharm. (or) AMIE with 2 years regular full time Teaching experience / Industrial experience in the relevant field after passing all the subjects.

TEACHING METHODOLOGY

Methods:

Explaining Clearly, Being Well Prepared, Summarizing Major Points, Identifying What is Important and Knowing if the Class Understands.

Style:

Giving an Interesting Presentation Style at varying Speed & Tone of Voice. OHP Slides and LCD projectors are also used.

Note taking:

Giving Lectures that are Easy to Outline.

We Encourage Class Discussion. Students are invited to share their Knowledge and Experiences through Discussions.

Project-focused Learning

By Internship Training & Major Projects in the area of Marketing, HR and Finance, Students are encouraged for self-learning and explore unlearned areas in the course curriculum.

Teaching Creativity & Problem-Solving for future Managers. In case studies, Leading Management Cases and Ethics cases are Discussed.
