Duties of the Discipline and welfare Committee Members
- The Discipline and Welfare Committee should regularly monitor the students timing, discipline, dress code, identity cards and other activities related to discipline and guide the students when they are entering the college in the morning and leaving the campus in the evening.
- It should monitor the students activities during breaks and interval time, and guide them to improve their discipline, studies, progress and welfare.
- It should keep a constant watch on students discipline when the students move in the academic area, circulation area, laboratories, library and hostel during working hours.
- In case of any indiscipline or related activities, it should be immediately brought to the notice of the Principal for looking into the matter.
- The Committee shall look into the welfare measures of the students and resolve their issues to make them feel comfortable in academics and other activities.
- The Discipline and Welfare Committee shall examine / inquire and recommend punishments /
remedial measures in the cases of:
- A)Indiscipline and welfare activities on the college campus and hostel premises
- B)Complaints of ragging, eve-teasing and harassment of weaker sections
- C)Any other activity that may damage the discipline and harmony of the college
- The Committee shall meet whenever required to deliberate on any issues referred to. However, an emergency meeting of the committee can be convened as and when the situation warrants. All the meetings shall be convened by the Convener with the approval of the Chairman of the committee.

14 - Internal Complaint Committee (ICC)
Internal Complaint Committee (ICC) Vishakha
The Internal Complaints Committee has been reconstituted for the academic year 2024-25 based upon
the Sexual Harassment of Women at Work Place (Prevention, Prohibition, Redressal) Act 2013 and UGC Regulations,
2015. This Committee meets periodically as and when required to look into the complaints and grievances of Women
(Students and Staff) and enquire into the complaints. The Chairperson should prepare report based upon the findings
and submit it to the Principal to take necessary steps for prevention, prohibition of sexual harassment and
redressal of grievances / complainants, if any.
