Credentials of the Department

  • All faculty members are well-trained in personality development and soft skills and they continuously refine these competencies to stay aligned with evolving educational standards and student needs.
  • To stay updated with the latest trends in teaching and learning, each faculty member is committed to complete at least two professional development courses every year. Along with their teaching responsibilities, they act as the dedicated mentors by motivating and guiding students to set and achieve both academic and personal goals.
  • The department has three Ph.D. holders, while the other faculty members are actively working towards admission into reputed universities to further enhance their academic and professional development.
  • In the English Literary Club, the Head of the Department serves as the Chief Mentor, supported by faculty mentors and student mentors. The club is highly vibrant and hosts various competitions to strengthen students’ communication skills in both spoken and written form. As part of its core mission, the club encourages students to use English as the primary mode of communication within the campus, gradually fostering an English-speaking environment. The club also consistently motivates and encourages students to participate in intercollegiate competitions. These platforms not only allow students to showcase their talents but also help them to build self-confidence, develop interpersonal skills and gain valuable exposure beyond the academic environment.
